This is a wonderful spot for a picnic, as there are plenty of picnic tables and a playground for children. It's also a great place for kids to learn about the local history of the area.

Another popular attraction is Grouse Mountain, which features year-round ski and snowboarding facilities as well as a gondola ride to the summit for incredible views of the city, the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf Islands. It is also a popular location for hiking in the summer.
